We shipped v2 of our design system: 123 native components, zero dependencies, theming via CSS custom properties. The difference in bundle size was striking.

Tip of the day: prefer ::part() over specificity hacks when you need to customize a Web Component from the outside. It keeps encapsulation intact and stays themeable.

Accessibility isn't an extra you tack on at the end. It's the foundation. I've started writing a guide to ARIA patterns for composite components, coming here soon.
